WHO:  Volunteers from all walks of life, regardless of skill level, are welcome to help build a house in partnership with a local family in need of decent shelter. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and all minor volunteers (ages 16-17) must be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN: Volunteers are scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, in two shifts: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.

WHAT to expect on site: All volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver before beginning their work. A Habitat staff member will lead a safety orientation at the beginning of each shift. Volunteers will receive instruction on the day's task(s). No volunteer will be expected to do anything he or she is uncomfortable doing.
