Baylor Habitat for Humanity
The first campus chapter
Campus chapters are student-run organizations which partner with their local affiliate in building, fundraising, advocating, and educating. Since 1987, countless college students across America have worked with their university’s campus chapter to join Habitat’s mission to eliminate substandard housing. But did you know Waco and Baylor University are home to the first ever campus chapter? Since its founding, Baylor Habitat has been a critical part of our work here in Waco and around the world. The campus chapter program, first imagined here, has led to the foundation of over 800 campus chapters in 35 countries.
If you’re a Baylor student interested in joining the Baylor campus chapter, meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6pm in room C105 of the BSB.
