Harvest Dinner 2025 Fundraising Progress
Goal: $250,000

About the Harvest Dinner
Join us on Thursday, November 13, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Waco Convention Center for an evening of celebration, gratitude, and community at the Waco Habitat for Humanity Annual Harvest Dinner, presented by Ascension Providence. This special event is an opportunity for us to come together, and reflect on the achievements of the past year. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, donors, and supporters, we’ve been able to make significant strides in providing safe, affordable housing for families in Waco.
Throughout the evening, we will honor the remarkable contributions of those who have given their time, talents, and resources to further our mission. From the hands that have swung hammers to the hearts that have given generously, every effort has brought us closer to ensuring that everyone in our community has a place to call home.
We invite you to join us for an evening of delicious food, inspiring stories, and a shared commitment to building a better Waco, one home at a time.

About the Family
Ryan and Gracie Rodarte have 5 children. They currently live in a 2-bedroom rental home, which is all that they can afford in today's housing market. With funds raised through the 2025 Harvest Dinner, Waco Habitat will build a safe and affordable 4-bedroom, 2-bath home with Ryan and Gracie, which they will purchase through an affordable zero-interest mortgage.
Sponsorships and Donations
As we gather for this year's Harvest Dinner, we celebrate the bountiful blessings of our community and the incredible work we've accomplished together. Yet, we know that many of our neighbors in Waco still face the daily challenge of unsafe, and unaffordable housing. Waco Habitat for Humanity is committed to changing that, but we can’t do it without you.
At this year's Harvest Dinner, Waco Habitat is challenging our community to raise $250,000.00 to build a home with the Rodarte family, and fund our new Critical Home Repair Program which will serve 80 household with both home repairs and wheelchair ramps for our community.
By making a donation, you are not just helping to build houses—you are building hope, stability, and a brighter future for Rodarte family. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring that the Llanas family have a safe and affordable home. All gifts will be matched by a $80,000 challenge grant from the Cooper Foundation!

Texas Ramp Project
Since 2020, Waco Habitat has partnered with the Texas Ramp Project to build wheelchair ramps for elderly and disabled homeowners. Waco Habitat pays for the materials and the Texas Ramp Project provides the volunteer labor to build each ramp. This partnership has allowed both organizations to serve more households in need of accessible entrances to their homes. In all, 55-60 ramps are built each year in McLennan County through the partnership.

Critical Home Repair Program
Habitat for Humanity is committed to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter with our home repair program. Critical Repair is defined as any disrepair that threatens the health or safety of the occupants or any home modification necessary to provide safe energy efficient home.
At this year's Harvest Dinner, Waco Habitat is challenging our community to raise $250,000.00 to build a home with the Rodarte family and help fund our new Critical Home Repair Program which will serve 80 household with both home repairs and wheelchair ramps for our community.

Thank you to all of our sponsors!
